JAN-PRO Earns Four Top Spots in Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 Awards for 2014

Global commercial cleaning franchise JAN-PRO is awarded three leading rankings in the esteemed Entrepreneur Franchise 500 Awards for 2014. JAN-PRO Master Owners join in with these recognitions and rank their satisfaction highly in December’s Franchise Business Review survey.

January 13, 2014, Alpharetta, GA – Of the myriad of accolades bestowed in the franchise industry, an EntrepreneurFranchise 500 award is among the most prized. That is why it is a supreme honor for JAN-PRO Franchising International to be awarded the #1 in commercial cleaning, fastest growing commercial cleaning franchise, and #12 overall franchise inEntrepreneur’s 35th Annual Franchise 500 rankings for 2014.  Entrepreneur also ranked JAN-Pro a Top 30 Global Franchise. And the honors continue, because JAN-PRO also recently received high satisfaction reviews from it’s Master Owners in a recent survey conducted by Franchise Business Review.  

In the $2.5 billion dollar franchise industry, competition is intense among franchise businesses around the country. To organize the rankings, Entrepreneur divides the award categories by type of industry, providing a clear scope from which the rankings may be pulled. In the commercial cleaning section, 18 franchises were analyzed. Therefore, the winning accolades provide JAN-PRO with not just a more established reputation, but a tangible way for clients, prospects, and JAN-PRO owners to track observable progress when compared to their competition.

“We operate in an industry that can seem a lot more exciting than the janitorial category, so when we receive this kind of recognition, it is particularly gratifying for all of us,” says CEO and President of Premium Franchise Brands, Rich Kissane.

According to Entrepreneur, franchises make up for 3.4 percent of all U.S. GDP and 10 percent of new U.S. jobs, thus making franchising a strong force in the U.S. economy. To measure their growth in the franchise industry in another dimension, JAN-PRO recently participated in a survey via the Franchise Business Review (FBR) in December 2013 that determined their franchise owners overall satisfaction with the brand in which they invested. There was a 79.89% overall satisfaction rating among their surveyed franchisees, against the FBR Benchmark for 2013 of 69.68%, which is another source of great pride to Kissane.

“Without our franchise owners, there would be no awards of any kind,” Kissane continues. “When they themselves see fit to rank our company so highly, it is doubly rewarding.”

JAN-PRO has earned Entrepreneur recognition as the fastest growing commercial cleaning franchise for five out of the past seven years.
